Wired issues

Thanks for replying and keeping us updated. Sorry to hear you're continuing to have issues with your wired connection. Did you try a different ethernet cord as suggested by XBF Brad? If so, and you're still getting an error message, you can look up that
piece of information and possible solutions in our Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution. This will help determine if there is a possibility
of your Ethernet port being no longer functional or not.

Go ahead and give this a try and please let us know the results.

Does give a error message except cannot connect to router. Havnt tried a different cable but tried a different console using the same canle and it works

Hi ODST,

Try going to system and restarting console that way. It same path as going to settings but right under settings. Doing this clears alt mac and clears cache.

Tried that. Going to reset the xbox after backing up. Again another console is working ok. We had a new router yestuday so have tried all of the normal trouble shooting can connect on wireless but not wired. Having the new router which is an upgrade if
one console works so should the other one. Im thinking it has lost the drive some how

Hello Omega here,

Some routers could have restrictions, is better you find out what is causing this issue.

Have you tried connect through the WI-FI?

Try that:

1. Turn off your router and your Xbox
2. Remove all cables
3. Wait 10 seconds
4. Connect everything again and turn on your router
5. Turn on your Xbox and check the connection
