Wired instruments seriously?

learned we would be able to use old equipment. Great! Then learned wired instruments except microphone not supported. Why go through all the hassle to make equipment compatable and not include them. I'm not spening another $250 to get an entire new collection
of instruments. Very disgusted by this and preventing me from buying the game. I really hope it's reconsidered and provides compatability later on. Since it takes forever to download games you have to download from your disc to even play the *** thing I actually
have been downloading all my games digitally. I was all set to buy rockband digitally then learned my equipment wouldn't work. Really annoyed. Xbox has the potential to be awesome and I don't understand why they are ridiculous about stuff like this. Xbox gaming
in general has been turning me off and I can't keep up with the costs anymore and alienating family playing together ex eliminating splitscreens has been really pissing me off.

I was going to, until I read that the X1 version doesn't support Wired Guitars from the 360 as Legacy Instruments. I wont be getting the game soley for that reason alone.

I don't have any instruments myself but my gf has 2 wired gh2 guitars, which according to the chart should work but can you confirm? Also I'm not seeing the adapter by itself on Amazon. Where are you getting your adapter Goth? Sorry if these are stupid questions

When did you learn that the old equipment would not work? There was a lot of effort put intentionally into making the old instruments work.

Yes, the old wired instruments aside from microphones will not work. However, the wireless ones WILL work with the purchase of the adapter that is either sold separately or included in the standalone physical version of the game.

 

I been playing Rockband 4 with a wired microphone and then I didn't play it for about a week and today I started it up and did the update it wanted me to. And now when I try to use the wired microphone it won't work it says no microphone detected.

 

I've already decided not to buy this game until they make an update to enable my wired ION Drum Rocker kit to work. I was all set to buy this game and was very excited as we used to have friends over for Rock Band parties with the 360. Apparently the PS4
allows you to use the drum set so I don't understand the problem. I've gone on different Rock Band related forums and I see this same problem so I'm obviously not the only one. So until a change is made, I won't be putting any money towards the game purchase
or the subsequent DLC. Too bad because I love the franchise as I've already spent a ton of money and I'm ready to spend a ton more.

 

I hear you. Microsoft is not allowing any X360 USB devices to be used on XB1. The only thing I can suggest is adding your vote to this topic on the Xbox User Voice website so MS knows how many people want this feature.
