Wired headset Samsung tv?

Thank you for responding and I appreciate the added details. To clarify, when you meant the Headset is connected to the remote, are you referring to the Samsung TV remote? If yes, you may need to contact Samsung Support (Support Home | Official Samsung Support US) or Turtle beach (Turtle Beach® - Contact Us) to check if their headset is compatible with Samsung TV remote.

In the meantime, we highly suggest using the headset on Xbox One controllers since Turtle beach headsets are compatible with Xbox controllers.

1. May I know if the headset is connected to an Xbox Controller?
2. Are you using wired headset or wireless?
3. May I know what is the brand of your headset?

In the meantime, I recommend you try the following steps:

1. Check if your headset is properly connected to your remote control. Make sure that it is securely plugged in.



2. Check if your headset is compatible with your Samsung TV or the Xbox controller. You can check the user manual or contact Samsung support for more information.



3. Check the audio settings on your Samsung TV. Make sure that the audio output is set to the remote control.



4. Make sure your controller is updated to the latest firmware. You can update your controller using the Xbox Accessories app on your Samsung TV or on another device.

5. Make sure your Samsung TV has the latest software update. You can check for updates in the Settings menu of your TV.

6. Try using a different headset or controller to see if the problem persists.

2. I did not see anything online about headset compatibility on Samsung’s website. Do you have a link?

3. My choices for audio output, our TV speakers or optical for sound bar. Is there a setting somewhere else such as in the Xbox game Center?

6. I also tried the basic headset. It did not work. I also tested the headset on my Xbox one. It worked fine..

The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.
