Wired headset problem with Xbox360 "Halo REACH edition"

I'm having several problems with the wired headsets.

If i want to use the headset, I must connect it to the controller before to turn on the console. If i connect the headset later, the console/controller wont detect/recognize the headset.

If im playing with the headset but i unplug it by accident, when i try to coonect it again doesnt work. I must shut off the console then connect the headset and turn on the console again......

Im playing with the headset and 1 to 5 minutes later... i cant hear anything, just speak... i must select in voice options the sounf of headset in both (headset and tv) or just tv, to solve the problem quickly...

And more problems with xbox live party.

I checked parental control, all settings, tested 4 different controllers and 2 headsets (all original).

I want to buy a wireless headset but i fear to have the same problems... if exist a solution for this, please let me know.

Halo 4 & Black Ops 2

Since the console comes with the game, I can't see it being released days in advance. It says "Coming Soon in 2012" on the

marketplace.

Xbox 360 controller for PC audio(headphones)

I have 2 xbox360 controllers that I use with my PC(1 wired and 1 wireless) and I am trying to use it for audio with my xbox360 headset, but the audio quality is very poor and very choppy. This problem happens even with my wired controller, so the problem
must be with windows.

Are there any fixes for this problem?
