    Wired Headset issue


    Hi! I recently got this on headset for Xbox a bit ago and it works perfectly aside from one issue. That issue happens to be that I cannot get my voice to go through. The headset does not have a mute button, I am not muted through xbox, and there are no damages to the headset. I've also tried a different control and restarting my xbox. I've tried a number of things really and it still doesn't pick up any audio coming from me.

    Is the headset wired or wireless? If the headset is wired, it could be an issue with the cable connecting the headset to the controller.

    It could be a firmware-related issue with the headset, especially if it suddenly stopped picking up your voice. Hopefully it sorts itself out soon, but replacing it later might be a good call if it keeps acting up.

    Still not working, it's really weird because everything else is just fine. It's just others hearing me speak 😆

    I think I should just replace it later on.

    Thanks for the update! That definitely sounds like a strange glitch, especially if everything was working fine until recently and the headset works on another profile.

    Try clearing your Xbox cache to see if that helps reset things:

    1. Turn off your Xbox completely by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

    2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console.

    3. Wait at least 60 seconds.

    4. Plug the power cord back in and turn your console back on.

    This will clear the system cache without deleting any data. After doing this, test the headset again with your main profile and see if your mic works normally.

    Still not working, it's really weird because everything else is just fine. It's just others hearing me speak 😆

    I think I should just replace it later on.
