wired headset audio problem

    wired headset audio problem


    I've just went through 3 headsets thinking they were the problem, I've got one Wireless Xbox controller and another wired controller that works on both console and PC my problem is 90% of the time I can always hear the other party but all they hear is loud crackling and static, Sometimes I use Xbox app and plug headset into my phone to join party, I've got a nice set of wired Wolflaw's then I had to go cheaper route got some turtle beach ear buds, then had just got the single eared turtle beach all wired same problem, I've went through settings on Xbox tried everything I could think of to no avail I'm stumped

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hey Connor! Have you checked if this problem also happens when playing audio through different devices such as TV speakers or a wired headset?

    Will the Xbox One Headset adapter work with the Xbox 360 Halo 4 heahphone?

    If there the wired headset model then yes, I use the Halo 4 Tritton Trigger and it works, though there is a problem with the game audio also coming through the headset this isn't supposed to happen. But they work, if you are on about the wireless headset
    then it is not going to work.

    If wired, try making sure the audio port on the controller is clean as well.

    A wired USB headset. Not a bluetooth blaster that connects to your xbox then syncs your audio to your headset.

    If the headset is only a Bluetooth headset, then it cannot be connected to the Xbox, as the console does not support Bluetooth. However, you can connect a wired headset to the controller via 3.5 mm audio jack. If the headset can be connected that way, then you will have to connect via the wire.
