Wired ethernet connection problem

If your son's Xbox Series S is having trouble connecting to the DHCP server when connected directly to your TP-Link TL-SG1024D switch, but works when connected through a separate TP-Link router, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Maybe your cord is dodgy have you tried another cord

Is your wi-fi working fine cause i run on wi-fi and it works fine apart from a high 200 ms latency how is your wi-fi connection ?

Did you plug something else into the cable you are using and verify that it is working, cause it could be that the ethernet jack is not working on your Xbox One. If that is the case, you may need to have it repaired.

Even though your wifi is working pretty good right now, I have always been a fan of using a cable if you can.
