Wired controllers (faulty)

Hi, ’m looking to find out how I can get I touch with Xbox, regarding faulty controllers. My partner bought wired controllers, which are both showing problems the the the toggle controls as some other issues. I have tried many avenues with no way of getting any answer. There is no 14 digit code on the control. The code is 12 digits long. The call me back service does not work. I am unsure what else to do. The warranty is probably going to run out within the next month.

Thank you very much, this may clear up the 12 to 14 digit issue. I personally will not buy another wired controller. As there has been nothing but issues since we bought them. These controllers need to have a wire connected whenever they are in use.

Now that you have mentioned a third party. I believe this will be the case.

The control has a 90-day warranty, microsoft does not carry out out-of-date repairs.

if you're trying to request a call I advise online chat, just change the problem until you see the option. You need to have the invoice, it will be requested.

on the control there are two codes, one on top of the bar code and one on the bottom, the one on the bottom has 14 digits, I just counted on my own control, here's an image to illustrate.

Question is what controller is it

If it isn't a ms wired controller then you have to contact the third party manufacturer

MS doesn't sell wired controllers not in years

They sell wireless with w charge cable but thats not wired

If you loom at the controller it is third party you will know

You can Request an Xbox controller replacement here. However, if you are facing issues you will need to contact our live agents.

You can request a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website. If you are facing any issues with that, please go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue. If you don't see the options to request a call back or chat with support, change your category/topic until you do. If it does not work, please select billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge".

Is it wired or wireless? If wired then you would have to replace it as it is faulty.
