    Wired controllers don't connect

This is a strange problem and I will try to be as detailed as possible but I don't know a huge amount about xbox one's so please bare with me.

I have an xbox one which I bought for my children at christmas, I bought a gxt217 so they could have multiple controllers and a microphone connected.

The controllers is captain proton (sw) wired usb x2. The microphone came with Now thats what I call sing.

We have the gxt217 attached on the left side on the console, it lights up with a green light. It has 2 usb slots on the left and 2 on the right of the green light.

If I plug one of the controllers in, sometimes it will get the white connected light (on the controller) sometimes it wont. I have to switch between the 4usb slots until it seems to connect.

When I have 2 controllers plugged in, they constantly switch between player 1 and 2. When I enter/exit a game, or after a period of 5minutes of non-use. They will also disconnect during the game (or non-use) and then need to be connected to another usb slot
and the xbox restarted before it will allow it to be used as player 2 etc.

I have checked all connections are secure and this has been an ongoing issue for 3 months.

    :)

I can't connect two wired and two wireless controllers at the same time.

I can't connect two wired controllers at the same time. I can connect one wired and two wireless but when I put another wired one in it doesn't connect. Why is this?

    Controllers won't connect to Xbox 360 S

I have an Xbox 360 S and I can't get any of my controllers to connect to it. I have three wireless controllers and one wired controller. I've tried re-syncing my wired controllers to the console and they still would not connect, I tried plugging them in
with the play & charge kit and they still would not connect. I also tried using my wired controller and it would not connect either.

To me, it sounds like the GXT217 is faulty. You could test the system without it, the console itself also has 2 USB ports on the back. If everything works as expected without using the hub, you should be able to get it replaced.

comment connecté une manette xbox sur pc portable -[Translation - how to connect an xbox controller on a laptop]

To connect a Xbox controller to your laptop you can either buy a wired controller, use a micro USB, or buy the Xbox wireless adapter.

The adapter will allow you to connect your controller wirelessly if you don't like wired controllers.

Bluetooth adapter for x box controller??

Xbox controllers use the console's own direct wireless connection, they don't use Bluetooth. There is no such adaptor to turn a hard wired controller into a wireless controller on Xbox consoles.

    Xbox one controller connectivity issues

    Hi Dylan,

Try using the controller wired? to see if the controller works at all.If not, it might be faulty, best to exchange? If working wired; try connecting it again, instructions here: https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-one/accessories/connect-a-wireless-controller

If the controller is blinking it means it cannot establish a connection with your console. Other than that don't know what else. Hope that helps, good luck.

Xbox 360 Wireless controller not working on Windows 10

    Hi,

Sorry, what you're trying to do won't work. The simple answer is that 360 wireless controllers were only designed to work wirelessly. They don't have the functionality to send instructions via a wired connection.

The Play and Charge can only charge the battery - or power the controller if no battery is present.

You'll need a gaming receiver or a wired 360 controller. Only Xbox One controllers can use both wired or wireless connectivity with a PC.
