Wired Controller right joystick acting up.

So, recently within the past few weeks, I've noticed that my controller has been acting like I've been holding down the Left Trigger when I haven't touched it. I found out that when I move my right stick up or down, any game I play, or even any apps I
use recognize my Right Stick up or down as Left trigger. What do I do, and what's wrong with my controller?

Try what the previous replies said, also there are kits you can buy to help take the controller apart to clean it more thoroughly. If not, time for a replacement!

Have you tried Airduster to remove any particles from the controller over timing dust can get stuck between the joy stick.

It could potential be dust build up so maybe try a can of conpressed air and if that doesnt work id suggest trying to take the casing off and clean the contacts

It's not much, but I recommend trying a can of compressed air (with the straw attached) it'll help remove any debris and dust lurking inside your controller. You could also see if your controller needs an update (settings > Devices and Accessories)

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it was just dust buildup or something in the controller that was messing it up.
