    Wired Controller Issue

Why, WHY, Microsoft? Why is it asking too much? All I want is a wired controller with a headset port. I buy third-party, there's no headset port. I buy official, there's no headset port. And before anyone suggests just plugging a wireless into the console
with a USB-Micro-USB cable, I'm already doing that. My issue is that it's not reliable, and I've already bent two cable prongs, rendering them useless. I'm sick of buying batteries, I'm sick of buying USB-Micro-USB cables. I just want to play my game that
I paid for, on the console I sometimes question why I paid for.

    TL;DR

Why isn't there a wired controller with a headset port, and if there are, why are they so difficult to find?

    :)

Get a wired controller.. If it works fine then the issue is in your wireless controller.

  3. Xbox One Wired Controller Issue

    @JakeInYoPants

I went and exchanged my blue one for a different controller, same brand, same Rock Candy model series, and after uninstalling the official Microsoft Xbox One Drivers and reinstalling them somehow my new controller is working.

This is the only difference that I have done besides swapping out the controller.

    1. Uninstalled all XBOX One controller drivers through the device manager, had new controller plugged in.

    2. Install new Hardware could not install Rock Candy Controller for Xbox One drivers occurred after I unplugged and reinserted it in USB port.

    3. Randomly decided to have controller plugged in when I reinstalled the x64 drivers, and the light in the controller above the Xbox button lit up and it vibrated halfway through the install process that seemed to be hanging.

I really would suggest seeing if you could get a different controller and try these steps. If that fails, I might find a way to help you with PDP or over the net.

    Wired Controller Issue

If you play wired, then why do you unplug the controller to begin with. I never had a USB plug come undone when I play with the controller plugged in.

Did you read the post? I specifically said that I've bent two cable prongs, rendering the cables useless. So, until I buy a new USB-to-Micro-USB cable, I'm on batteries.

Reason is that. In the last gen when MS offered both. Most gamers rather have wireless then wired controllers. The only way I can see you get your controller. If your ask congress to outlaw wireless game controllers. And any one have one. Will go to prison
of having one. That the only way it can happen. Sorry if you think it takes the other side choices away. But that how you get your way. When you not the one is in Majority of all people. You do it by forces.

    Wired Controller Issue

I'm going to respond in order to these replies. First, I have TWO wired controllers already, and I'm just wondering why they don't have headset ports. They exist, and I have them. So I don't need to do any crowd-funding to go to the United Nations and cry
about Microsoft being a meanie-pants or anything like that. I just want a headset port.

Second, did YOU read the post? I HAVE charge cables. USB-to-Micro-USB cables plug into the console on the USB end, and into the controller on the Micro-USB end.

this is the point, why wired, yes you say you have bust several usb cable using them as wired, but why use as wired and dont say to play, you can get third party battery packs and charger that the controllers sit on and they never need to be plugged in,
so, why do you choose to be wired and why do you not choose to play wirelessly.

You want to know why? I'll tell you why. Because when I get sucked into a game that I really like, I can sometimes lose track of time. And when I lose track of time, my batteries die. And before you remind me that you suggested to get battery PACKS, think
about that for a second. What is a battery pack? It's a battery. Anyway, as I was saying, the batteries die, and I need to stop playing. But with a controller that's wired in, I can literally dedicate an entire day to gaming if I want to, and never have to
worry about stopping to swap out batteries, or battery packs. I don't want to get notifications that my batteries are low, I don't want to have to fuss with rechargeables and their stupid stands, and I don't want to have to worry that the controller will die
during a heavy assault in Battlefield or something. I just want to focus on the game until I'm finished without worrying that about the charge.

You know, it's kind of ironic. Before this Xbox came out, people were losing their minds when it was revealed that physical discs were being phased out. Why should a physical link between the controller and the console be any different? Why are people so
excited to see those go, but freak out when the discs are taken away?

OP it because of today's TV are much larger then the past gen. Some TV's are over 100 inch's. And you much be much father then nine feet to enjoy the pic of the TV. And most gamers wanted wireless over Wired controllers. As I said on my first post. Yo must
outlaw wireless controllers from the market to get your way.

No outlawing is required. Not everyone can afford a hundred-inch television set. All I'm asking for is an option. I spent over four-hundred dollars on this console, so it would be nice to have a wired controller. My 360 uses a wired controller with a headset
port, so why can't the Xbox One? If it were truly an all-in-one entertainment system, it would entertain the idea that not everyone has a jumbotron in their bedroom.

    Wired Controller Issue

If the most the people bought wired controllers last gen. Then this Gen would had no wireless option. Most people want get rid of the cord those days. Even with game controllers. To get the most get what you want. You have to outlawing the wireless controllers.
And make people buy the wired controller. Sorry that how life works. That why some old tech goes away. The new ones took it place. That why we no longer have telegrams any more. Because the telephone replace it. That why solders no longer used swords in
battle. Because the gun replace it. And the sword replaced spier's before that. Just look anything in human history. The old way get replace by thee new way all the time. And to make what you wanted happen. You must take the choices of most gamers. By outlawing
there choices ever being made. Then it will hinder technoly going forward. Plus by next gen. battery tech will be more powerful and last longer then this gen. And there is a message that will say that controller battery is low. Because it pop on me when it
    low.

Is English a secondary language? Or are you typing this on one of those stupid computer-phones with that broken auto-correct function? Because this is seriously giving me a headache, trying to figure out what you're trying to convey. And just as a point
of semantics, the telegraph machine replaced the telegram, and then the telephone replaced the telegraph machine. I hate it when people get that wrong. I don't know why, it just really irks me.
