Wired Controller / Headset Mic Buzzing Noise

I recently purchased the Razer Wildcat wired controller for my Xbox One and ever since I started using it members in my party have been complaining about a loud buzzing noise. I tried plugging in the regular Xbox One controller and the noise was still there,
however, when i used a wireless controller it was gone. Ive read up online that the issue comes from using a wired controller and the grounding and all that but I haven't seen anyone post a solution so I'm coming here for help! I plug the headset directly
into the controller as it has a 3.5mm jack, it is not USB. Any help would be appreciated!

Xbox One Mic Buzzing

When I am in a party chat with my friends they tell me that there is an awful buzzing noise coming from my mic. I've tried 3 mics and 2 controllers and they all have the same result. My headset is an Afterglow wired headset and my controller is also wired.
I've been told that the buzzing happens when the controller is charged while the mic is used, but I have no other option because my controller is wired.

Basically, the noise is coming from the electrical current running through the controller due to it being wired into the console directly to charge a wireless controller or allow to maintain connection for a wired controller. Unfortunately,
depending on the headset you are using, this buzzing will not go away. In my experience, the only headset I own that does not buzz while I am "wired" into my console are my 100% wireless Turtle Beach 800X Elites. I have the Turtle Beach XO-1, XO-Seven Pro,
800x Elite, Astro A40 and the standard Microsoft Headset (black). As I said, the only ones that don't buzz are the 800 elites because they plug into the console via USB and Optical. All others plug into the controller in one way or another.

Ah got it. So basically my only option here is to get a pair of wireless headphone to eliminate the buzzing. I'll definitely look into that to see what i can afford. Thanks for the help!

I prefer wireless controller and wired headset, but I do not recommend using a wired controller and a wired headset. Some headsets will make a weird buzzing noise when plugged into a wired controller. And also, same goes for plugging your wireless controller
into your console to charge a battery pack.

is there a solution for this? my PS3 friends are comparing my 360 to a gWhiz. you get headlights or wipers, but not both... god forbid it rains at night.

When I'm using a wired controller. To make it stop making the "buzzing" sound. Turn off the "vibration."

*Click A*

It's on when there's a "check mark" in the box.

It's off when there's no "check mark" in the box.

Try turning off your vibration. This solved it for me.

Yeah. I have the same problem. This happens to my wireless controller as soon as I connect the "plug'n'play" cable to it. The buzzing is heard by both the people on the other end and by myself. It is very audible and not at all ignorable. I have noticed
this problem on 360 as far back as the first gen 360's (non-hdmi consoles). this is ridiculous and probably easily fixed if Microsoft saw fit to do it.

There is no easy fix for the end user though. This is a poorly designed audio circuit which is not properly shielded from the other circuits in the controller. It is an inherent design flaw. I've traced the circuit paths myself only to discover that the
battery + circuit is less that 1mm away from the audio ground circuit. That is just silly, and even the greenest engineer would know better, and probably did, but as many may know, the bean counters always mess up the engineering.
