    Wired Controller doesn't work


    On my Wired controller (Xbox) it WILL NOT turn on and does not activate or do anything. I have a working cable and I think my controller is the issue, I can take out the cable from my controller. Also I have another wired controller that works fine on the
    same USB port on the Xbox. Do you guys know how to fix?

    Edit: I have searched so far and I need an answer. I think it has something to do with the inside of the controller as there was a little part where I insert the connection to the Xbox. I shoved the little part in a bit and as the cable was in my laptop,
    it started making noises as if a USB cable was plugged into it or something. (Before the Pc didnt even recognize a cable.) But when I connect it to my Xbox it doesn't work and my accessories only show my other wired controller, and not the broken one.

    I desperately need help.

    with PC works, only with controller not wired connected to xbox, mic doesn't work,

    is possible that with anot wired connection mic is excluded ?

    I have an original 360 controller and it doesn't work
    Is it a wired controller?

    For 360 controllers to work on PC without any additional hardware, they must be wired. The 360 play and charge for wireless controllers
    won't turn a wireless controller into a wired one. The reason is simply because the play and charge can not send data, it only provides power.

    I have 2 controllers. One that is wired, and I have separate controller that is wireless. When I plug in my wireless controller it doesn't turn on, and it makes my other wired controller which is plugged in turn off. The wired one works fine by itself. but
    once the wireless one is plugged in it doesnt work. What could be the problem?

    It doesn't really matter if the PC/Laptop has Bluetooth or not though. The user is trying to get the controller to work with a wire, which worked before, and is the same wire I'm using. My PC doesn't have Bluetooth.

    I already stated earlier that the Play and charge for the Xbox One also sends data, and it can turn a wireless controller into a wired controller. Only the 360 play and charge is just a charger.

    If even the wired controller option without batteries doesn't work, you will not be able to assign a profile.
