    Wiping personal info off Xbox one


    I need advice. I sold our Xbox lastnight but the personal info wasn't cleared properly so now the new owner is using our email to purchase his subscriptions and using our gamertag etc. How do clear it without having to go back to the new owners home to clear
    it myself. I don't even know how either. I looked into cancelling my Microsoft account but it's saying I'd lose access to my Hotmail. Which I can't have that, I need my email address. Hotmail is needed for all my work. Please help me figure this out. Thanks

    You should be able to require that the user know your password and Windows LIVE ID before using your profile. To do this remotely:

    1. Go to My Account.
    2. Under Settings & Preferences, click Xbox 360 Profile Protection.
    3. Sign in with the Windows Live ID (email and password) that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account.
    4. The number of consoles where a sign-in password is not required is displayed.
    5. Select Protect Profile to require that your profile be redownloaded from Xbox LIVE, using your Windows Live ID and password, before it can be used on a console. All existing copies of your profile will no longer work and any profile changes
      or achievements not saved to Xbox LIVE will be lost.

    There is not a way to remove an account remotely from a console. If you do not have access to the physical console, you will need to change the password on your account. The password will need to be entered the next time it is accessed on the console.

    ok iv got the old xbox its from 2008 and it just quit on me and got the 0001 red rings of death i was fine with it i though oh ill just buy a new one but now that i check i think it wiped my account i have 0G now did i get reset or did it wipe the info

    Real problem with the low reputation (Xbox One)

    You 360 reputation will have no effect on your xbox one reputation.

    Also when you sold your xbox one originally did you make sure to factory reset it so that your information was wiped off it?

    If the person you sold it to was using your profile and being a *** then that would be whats lowered your reputation

    Just report the persons emblem if possible. Sadly there's not much anyone can do about it. I don't think MS will be able to do anything about it since it's probably up to treyarch to deal with it.

    A friend of mine made his own gamertag with his number a few years back. He loved getting phone calls from people for some reason.
