Wiping of my phone

Hi. I have been doing some research and found that after changing the email associated with my account, I will need to wipe my Windows phone. I have also found that I will loose all my games. I would like a money back for the games...

I would just like a refund in the form of microsoft cards, because, like I said, I want to repurchase the said games.

Changing the Xbox or windows live accout on a windows phone

So I got a windows phone a while back and it made me set up a windows live account. Now when I try and get my Xbox live account on my phone it can't be done. I'm trying to see if there's a way to link the two accounts together or get my live account on
here without wiping out my phone.

 

I mad a mistake trusting someone brought a Xbox one s that wasn't as described as he said.

In the future always take a pic of their license plate before leaving. Maybe if you went to the PD they could track the phone number or something? If he didn’t wipe the hard drive most likely he used his own phone number.

You will need to chat in with Windows Phone support regarding this issue. By refunding these apps, your license for the content will be revoked until your repurchase it using the new account. From my understanding, the billing system does not allow refunds
in the form of MS Currency. All refunds have to be processed back to the payment method they were taken from. You can contact Windows Phone support here:

If you really do want a refund, go ahead and speak with Windows Phone Support.

However, there is no reason why you should lose access to any of these games. Yes, by factory-resetting the phone all of these will be deleted off the phone, but they will still be owned by your account.

Now, even though you changed your account's associated email (was this via an Xbox 360?), the account itself should still be the same.

Therefore, once the phone is set back up, simply go into your Purchase History and start downloading the titles again. This is very easy from the Windows Phone website, WindowsPhone.com and there is a helpful guide for you here:

The guide covers both doing it from your PC as well as the device itself. The How-To is under WP8, but the process is the same even for WP7.
