    Winter: I have been slandered.


    My gamertag is Winter on Xbox live and I am here to defend myself from the false accusations of rocket league players who have decided to try and get my account banned. I have never hit anyone offline or scammed anybody out of any money. This action was taken by people who do this to try and get innocent people like myself banned. I feel like crying right now cause I have done no wrong yet they have amassed a good enough crowd to testify against me that I have done these heinous things when I have never once indulged in. I hope somebody can hear my cry’s for help because I am genuinely hurt by the actions individuals have taken to hurt me. I hope my account does not get banned if I have to show any evidence of my innocence I will try my best to try. Thank you

    I am a very close friend of Winter and I can back up everything this post says. There are no logs that show any amount of communication between Winter and the person in question.

    Slander and Defamation is a CIVIL matter, not a criminal matter. ALSO, Slander and Defamation can only occur if the slander and defamation was A) Made in Public, usually the media in some form, and B) You use REAL names........

    Since you have an "anonymous" Gamertag, and the "accusations were NOT made on a public media source, then you have ZERO basis for any kind of lawsuit.

    Also, There is ZERO chance you you being able to subpeona MS for the chat messages.
