Wins at Your Back Not Unlocking

This is the second month in a row now that it hasn't unlocked. I have completed a challenge
every single day for the last 2 months, and nothing. This achievement is way too glitchy and needs a patch.

Minesweeper wins at your back

Have tried it twice now. Did it same time as i did Solitare and mahjong. Got it to those but for some reason didin't get it on minesweeper. Is it bugged?

I don't rly know if I'm up to 3rd. time.

I completed this achievement in the Month of July but did not receive after doing the first challenge. Even went perfect for the month just in case. What can be done to rectify this. Surely there would be a record of my activity showing I did what was required
to get the achievement. Thank you.

Just to clarify here, the achievement needs more than just completing a challenge from each day in the month - you can log in on the last day of the month and do 30 challenges at once, and it won't unlock. Instead you need to play at least one challenge
every 24 hours for an entire month.

That said, as discussed in other threads, this is run on server time, which I believe is PST, so it could be a up to a day difference on either side, depending on where you live.

 

Another possibility is that swiping an app closed in Windows 8.1 really just suspends it, but doesn't close it. Combine that with a computer/tablet/whatever putting itself on suspend/sleep, and it's possible for Windows 8.1 and Metro apps to run for days
without a true restart.

There have been times that I've opened one of the Microsoft Games, gone to the Daily Challenges, and noticed that the screen displays yesterday's date. Yeah, I can go to the Calendar and click on today, but if the app thinks it's yesterday, could that affect
this achievement?

Just to be safe while working to earn this achievement, I've swiped Minesweeper closed a second time (which seems to close it for real), restarted it, then played a Daily Challenge after confirming that the main Daily Challenges screen was displaying that
day's date.

 

I made sure to do a challenge every day, and not all at once. However, now that I know the time is dependant on server time, and not your machine's local, I'll try again...

Same here, I did complete a challenge each day and I didn't get the achievement. I also suspect that while it was a different day for me, it was still same day in Redmond time in at least one instance, when I played just after midnight. This needs to be
fixed.

 

Or at least provide detail as to when the last challenge was completed. The way it is now is more work than fun.

 

If the app is intended for Windows 8, then it should "Close" the app when you click the red "X" in the upper right corner when you swipe the drop down.

The challenges are "unlocked" based on local time, so that should be the qualifier.

I religiously played ALL challenges each day on the day they were unlocked.

"PERFECT" but not qualified for Wins at your Back??

I won't try again. I'll uninstall it. It was only a fluke that this month I was able to play each day.

 

I went to Task Manager and ended the program.

Opened again and THEN it 1) updated the Challenge to the correct day (was May 29) ... and 2) awarded me "Wins at your Back".

Now the stupid "I hate snakes" and the one about keeping 10 of everything in supply are the only awards I'm missing and I've pretty well given up every achieving either of those.
