Windows Xbox(Beta) storage problem of canceled download

I started to downloading Forza Horizon 5. Then 3-5 minutes after i cancelled the downloading process. However, the reserverd storage for forza horizon 5, did not release. I did not download the game but it is using storage. How can i delete it?

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the procedure below.

(Some users have reported that this allows downloading the game)

1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.

2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.

3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.

4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

- If that works, the download will probably pick up where it left off.

As you suggested, I tried to download the beta but have a problem. In the store, it shows I own the beta and it has started downloading. Problem is it never happens. It just shows "starting download" and even shows it in the queue. I can't cancel it
or seem unable to effect it in anyway so can't get beta. Any ideas?

Hello, my problem is on the PC with the new Xbox app (beta) and store windows, any game that I put to download, only consumes half or 1/4 of my connection. I have already checked for possible problems with the internet and settings, this only happens with
the windows store and Xbox app (Beta). Use internet via cable.

tanks again but i download xbox(beta) and i have the same problem and im sure is my windows is broken because my email too is broken

Uninstall the app again then download and install the Xbox beta app to see if that works:
