    Windows updates affecting Solitaire Events.


    Has anyone else experienced this problem.

    When a windows update is due it seems to affect my connection to the Microsoft Casual Games Events.

    When I finish a game, I either get a recurring message saying that I cannot connect to the server with the options retry or cancel.

    If you cancel and leave the event it is impossible to remain access for several hours even if the update has finished.

    The last time an update was pending on the 22nd October 2019 it took me over 10 hrs to reconnect.

    I had finished the first game, but the system had not recorded it. I had to replay the game. Even worse the system had recorded me starting the game over 10 hours previously but not the fact that I had had to quit.

    The whole event recorded a time of over 11hrs when I only played for just over an hour.

    I now have to check to see if an update is pending before I play.

    Does anyone know why this happens? Could you suggest a solution if it happens mid event please.

    Here's an update to my previous post: I checked my Surface Pro 3 and the Events windows populate correctly on it, but my desktop is still stuck on

    There's a new version of Solitaire Collection that brings back the Events Collection! Mine was updated on 2/2, and if you don't have v3.14.1310.0, open the Windows Store, click on the round icon to the left of the Search box and choose
    Downloads and updates, then click Check for updates

    windows 10, microsoft solitaire event, todays easy event rank 18th, nov 10th rank 6th, I'm guessing I'm able to beat those using a program on the harder games only

    LockedGem739, does this issue persist? In addition to manually checking for Windows Updates, have you also run the Windows Update troubleshooter?

    You mention uninstalling Solitaire. Does this mean that you experience this issue in both Solitaire and Bingo?
