    Windows update broke Xbox live


    I have win10 with latest updates. KB 4598242 on Jan 19 appears to have broken Xbox live app. I cannot sign into my account. I can sign on the website, but when I attempt to sign on from inside games on my PC I get error message. "file cannot be found".

    Instructions tell me to delete my profile from windows to fix this, but if I do that all my personal data will be deleted - not gonna happen.

    Deleted the games, xbox live and updated to newest versions of all with no luck.

    Any ideas?

    the mega millions that broke my xbox this update broke my connectivity to live so the update is pointless now...

    Having the same issue after update. Seems update broke Xbox Live. I was trying to download a DLC from there and it had only progressed 1% in like 2 hours, and Xbox Live was disconnected again. Didn't have this problem before the latest updates.
