Does anyone know if I can redeem Windows Store gift cards in the Xbox Store?

XBOX Live Gift Cards

There’s Xbox gift cards, which can be spent on anything in the store, and then there are Xbox Live subscription cards. If you bought a card specifically for Gold, then it’s just for that. I would go back to the store and exchange it for Xbox gift cards.

Microsoft account currency cards once redeemed on your account can be used for all Microsoft services, including Xbox Store on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. So, the answer to your question is yes.

Yes, you can. Xbox gift cards and Windows gift cards all add to your Microsoft account balance which can be used in the Microsoft Store.

Thanks for the response. In regards to the two cards. Xbox gift cards are used for anything pertaining to Xbox. You can use them on the Microsoft store for Xbox related items like games, controllers accessories. Windows gift cards are for things like PC,
tablets, phones. All windows based items.

If you are purchasing devices like Xbox console, surface pro they are limited to being used for them.
