Discus and support Windows screen saver and power saving modes stopped working after installing xbox gaming... in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; This happened to me on two different machines one being a Windows 10 and the other a Win 11 box, but curiously both won't go into power saving funtions...     Windows screen saver and power saving modes stopped working after installing xbox gaming...


    This happened to me on two different machines one being a Windows 10 and the other a Win 11 box, but curiously both won't go into power saving funtions like screen saver or sleep after updating the xbox app and installing the gaming sevice on both machines. it doesn't matter if the Game Mode switch in settings is on or off. All of the power saving settings and screen saver are enabled and look like they should work. Any ideas as to what the gaming service app could have changed on both machines?

    Screen brightness very low when turning system on

    I have the same problem but I found a temorary solution. It helps to go to settings--->power and startup then turn the power mode to energy saving. Though the instant-on is cool, with energy saver the xbox properly powers up and the screen is bright

    Quickie or not.

    I've put on power saver mode for the time being as playing the witcher 3 there's a glitch where if you resume the game from instant on mode, it can sometimes corrupt the save

    Xbox one won't read Monster Hunter World disc, but reads every other game disc fine.

    I went through what the article was suggesting but unfortunately it didn't work.

    Also re-installed my blu-ray app & switched to power saver mode but both also didnt work.

    Xbox One Power Brick is NOT turning off after last update.

    I put into power saver mode right now..and it fixes the power brick supply "not turning off" issue...BUT I never had it set to that before...and i have never had this issue...Now that it's in power saver mode..I can't turn on the Xbox with my voice when
    its off....

    This is a real issue after the latest update/patch that needs to be addressed.
