Windows Phone or iPhone?

I don't know much about those, but I really need to change my 6 years old flip phone. I don't know which one to choose... The Windows phone offer smart glass which is something I would like to have, and it has windows game with xbox live achievements. Can
it get apps like the companion app for Assassin's Creed Unity? Can it get Snap Chat, Facebook and Youtube app? (Those most popular apps). I already have an iPod Touch but it is so old I can't even download the real Youtube App, it has no camera so no Snap
Chat and Facebook won't work anymore. If the Windows phone offer all those same apps I can get from an Iphone, I'll get the Windows phone, if not, I guess I'll get the iPhone. Of course if I had more money, I would buy the Windows phone and a new iPod Touch
instead of the iPhone, but I don't have the money for both. Anyone can help me out with this?

Thank you

:)

Windows phone to xbox

I doubt there will be much in terms of Windows Phone exclusive features when it comes to the Xbox. There is certainly no evidence that there is. Windows is currently a pretty great phone OS. Microsoft will be releasing their WP10 flagships later this year so hold off until then because I expect MS to come out swinging.

Windows phone to xbox

Hopefully this is in the right category. Ok at the moment I have an android phone, LG g3, I like it and use xbox smartglass to connect to my x1 every now and then other than that I use it to send messages when am not online. Lately MS has been doing some pretty impressive stuff and showed some impressive functions yet to come to Windows phone. I wanted to know if there are any benefits to using Windows phone with xbox that other os like android and ios don't have. This question would be mostly geared towards the price that have a Windows phone. Also with Windows 10 coming out I was thinking of having the whole MS eco system. And also would you guys recommend a Windows phone in general?

I want a new phone to use those apps because I like them and I think they are fun. Keep your old phone, I want a new one.

6. Without achievements, you could always go Android. iPhone's are simple to use and imo, not worth the asking price given that the Hardware isn't earth moving. I don't know if these apps work on ios, maybe someone has an iPhone here? Nokia Window phones are
the best I've used when it comes to windows phones.

Smart Glass is available on iPhone and Android as well.

As for achievements. Depending on how much mobile gaming you do, you're going to still get most of your achievements from your Xbox console.
Can it get apps like the companion app for Assassin's Creed Unity?
Yes.
Can it get Snap Chat, Facebook and Youtube app? (Those most popular apps).
Facebook and Youtube, yes. Snapchat, no.

While I think that Window phone has a great user interface, the lack of apps means that I can't recommend it. I'd go with the iPhone.

Windows Phone or iPhone?

It is all personal preference. I love my Windows Phone and it has all the apps for me.

However, if there are apps you want that are not there then you need to look elsewhere.

As mentioned previously, the SmartGlass stuff is available on all platforms.

Android is the way to go. My Galaxy S5 hasn't let me down yet. And it's water resistant

11. iPod Factor of the iPhone could also be a decision maker OP? Because it's possibly better then others. Also, what about screen size? The iphone 6+ and samsung notes are huge, I use the note myself and it's hard to switch after using it for a while.

I thought I'd love my windows phone, and I do... But just wish there was more. I came from android and will probably go back next phone. If you only use your phone for a few apps and email, then windows is great. Works well for work as it comes with office
not a third party app. But if the apps you are looking for are available for both iPhones and windows, you can count on windows being an older version of the app. Developers don't seem to update heir apps regularly like iPhone or android.

But windows does have snapchat. Not the official one, its a third party, but all my friends who use it don't notice a difference. 99% the same.

Windows Phone or iPhone?

If OPie haves an iPod touch, then you know how to use an iPhone. The transition is less painful, as you know how to use it and it has all of the popular apps and then some, since iOS is usually the first platform app developers target to release software.
Sure, it eventually comes to Android, but fragmentation on that platform is an issue.

Windows Phone, while a solid attempt from Microsoft, still has a lot of work to do on its marketplace before I can heartily recommend owning one of those. It's good as a backup phone (I own a 525 for times where my iPhone doesn't work) but little else at
this point.

Also, if you were to choose a WP, why buy an iPod touch? WP does the same core features as well.
