windows phone 8 no connect to XBOX360 with smartglass

Morning,

i cant connect my windows phone 8 to my xbox360 with smartglass.

They are on the same net, on system xbox is enabled smartglass, same account, but i receive always error 1000.

I see my gamertag, my avatar, my app, on the phone but cant connect ti the consolle.

Others smartphone, android or iphone 4s are connected.

What can i do?

As far as I know of, the SmartGlass apps will not be available until later this year when Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 are released. I just checked the apps for both the Xbox and my Windows Phone 7 device but there are not any apps relating to SmartGlass,
only the Xbox Live Companion app.

On a side note, the beta access does have an option in the 'Console Settings' to allow for SmartGlass under the 'Connected Devices' section. As of right now, it allowed my Companion app to connect with my mobile and xbox.

 

Will the Windows Surface Tablet work with the Xbox One?

It's called SmartGlass and it works with the XBOX 360 and XBOX One via your home wireless Network. Also SmartGlass is on Windows 8/RT Windows Phone 7.8/8, iOS, Android. Also XBOX One support WiFi direct, you never know but I imagine this may eliminate the
need for a WiFi router and allow Surface to direct connect to the XBOX One.

 

Hey, mrronin61! This was a known issue that was resolved today. Can you make sure you're up and running now?

 

I have also picked up that after the 8.1 update if you don't accept the T&C's in your account settings this will happen, it was happening to me.

Just thought it would be a nice bit of info just in case someone else was having the problem.

I am also having the same problem . I have even change all my signins to the same name . still no console connection to wp8.
