    Windows live service


    I am unable to get my Windows live service running each time that I try it errors out with connection error I'm able to access the Internet with no problem I have run the troubleshooter it does not find the error either I am now running Windows 10 my service
    was working before I install Windows 10 please assist in resolving problems

    I'm assuming you're talking about Games for Windows Live?

    If you are, there are a few quirks with it and Windows 10, but you should be able to get it working. Windows live service :)

    What you'll need to do is remove any traces of it on your PC - Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and remove the Microsoft Games for Windows Live related stuff.

    Next you'll want to download the latest and greatest version:

    www.xbox.com/.../DownloadClient

    Install that new client. Launch the game that uses it.

    Everything *should* work now. If it doesn't, rinse and repeat. I know it sounds strange but I went through this process last night - it didn't work the first time but the second time it did without issue.
