Windows Games Won't Sync to Cloud

Discus and support Windows Games Won't Sync to Cloud in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have been trying to play multiple games on my Win 10 laptop for the past 2 days.     Windows Games Won't Sync to Cloud


    I have been trying to play multiple games on my Win 10 laptop for the past 2 days. But none of them will load as I keep getting error messages saying that they are unable to Sync to my data to the Cloud Services.

    Two of the games are Fallout Shelter, which loaded up fine on my Xbox One and synced with the Cloud with no issues and Microsoft Ultimate Word Games. Both keep giving me similar errors when trying to load them up.

    "We can't sync your data with the cloud right now."

    and

    "There was a problem syncing your game data to the cloud. If you choose to disable cloud saving your data will only be saved to this device. Cloud saving can be re-enabled in the game options menu at any time."

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi DrSchlepenstein,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to try and help.

    If cloud syncing worked fine on your Xbox One console, then I don't think it's a profile issue but rather maybe something with your PC's connectivity to Xbox Live not allowing data syncing between Xbox Live and your PC.

    Open up the Xbox console companion app and click on Settings in the left panel, then click on the Network tab. It will automatically start scanning and make sure everything comes back good. If there are any issues please let us know what it says so
    we can help with troubleshooting. If everything comes back normal and it states you are connected to Xbox Live, then try restarting your PC.

    If you use a different Microsoft account to sign into Windows than what you use for your Xbox content, make sure you are logging into the same Microsoft account you have on the Xbox One console to the Xbox console companion app and also the Microsoft
    Store app.

    no, you won't as they are also saved on the cloud. So, once you'll open the game it will sync the saved data.

    I've probably totally screwed up! I had no advanced whatever or fix & repair options avail so I did the other thing, I UNinstalled, REinstalled but now when i try to start the game it has a window that says it can't sync the data. I disabled the cloud save, then reenabled it but it still won't sync?????

    I tried the fix that says to delete the local saved games and let the game sync but it won't finich syncing. The furthest I've gotten is 97% and it drops out saying it can't sync to the cloud. Patience is wearing thin lol.
