Windows games won't start.

Hello,

I'm desperately looking for some help. Since today, I can not play my downloaded XBOX Anywhere games on my PC anymore. The game "starts" but freezes on the loading screen. For instance: I want to play Gears of War 4. I open the XBOX App on the computer,
I go to My Games and click on play beneath Gears of War 4. This doesn't work. If I try to open the game via the Microsoft Store, it also comes up with the same issue. The problem only occurs with my XBOX Anywhere downloaded games. Other games via other services
have no issues. Furthermore, my pc doesn't recognize the game. When I open task manager, while the games freezes up on the loading screen, task manager doesn't say that the game is running.

My computer is an Acer Predator, with an I7 7th generation, 16 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX1050I 4GB. The specs should not be the problem. I downloaded and installed the games on D:\ due to the fact that the games are large (Gears takes up to 125 GB...).

I have re-installed both games twice (which is no fun, to wait for a download of 125GB...). Obviously, I turn my computer off and on. Also switched profiles to try if that worked, but that did not work either.

I have not changed anything. Just turned on my computer this morning and suddenly it didn't work anymore.

Games won't start

I was playing minecraft when the game started to bug a little. Eventually it said there was a problem, no code, and kicked me out to the menu and that's where it froze.

I have since restarted the console and whenever I launch the game I can get the start menu but when I try to access my worlds it just won't load.

I have tried launching other games since, ones I played as recently as yesterday, and they also get stuck on the opening menu.

Nothing has updated or been installed recently before or since this issue which could affect the it

Please help.

Games won't start.

Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

I don't believe it's related to an Xbox account. This particular error I'm not familiar with. The Windows forum has a post on troubleshooting apps:

Usually if one store app has a problem, the other ones will (such as Photos). Hope this helps!
