Windows Game Pass error 0x80190001

If a game was installed from the Xbox Game Pass catalogue but will no longer play, make sure your Xbox Game Pass subscription is active and that the game is still in the current catalogue. Also check the individual game detail page to confirm that your machine specifications and operating system version meet the minimum requirements set forth by the developer. Certain games may require the latest Windows update.

Dear user,

Error code 0x80190001 can occur not only on Windows but also Xbox. This issue is related to an incorrect or incomplete update of the system. Once there is an issue, the device cannot download upgrades and
starts displaying the latter error code.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Not sure why windows moved this t Xbox as this issue is a file issue. You can try the steps posted

here. I was not able to find anything on our sites for the error unfortunately.

Why did you include at the end, a step for a Xbox console?
