Windows detecting headphones as headset

Hey guys, so here's my problem.

I connect my headphones (Jabra MOVE 2.5.0) to my computer and listen to some jams shortly before moving to play some games. However, when I open up any game, Windows automatically switches the headphone device type to headset! Thus, I can no longer select it as an output device, or wizard my way around in control panel (that I know of). Is there any way to STOP Windows from switching the device type to headset? Additionally, I can, after a long wait, select it as an output device in which it will output tape-recorder quality (no one likes this including me ).

Yes I’m still having the problem. Pertaining to your response, it only happens when I connect headphones because they are sound devices. It happens with any sound device (1) that has a mic, and (2) when I start a game. I’m convinced that it has to do with Windows automatically switching the device type to headset mode, thus causing the quality and connectibility to drop for a long period of time while Windows tries to identify what is actually happening

thanks for the reply. I've already tried the second one, which has been discussed extensively on other forums. The first one was a little confusing, but I think that's because, while writing your reply, you assumed I was still on Windows 10. I currently have Windows 11, which is where the issue is occurring. I did attempt the first method with no results.

I thought it would be useful if I clarify the situation because I think my first definition is a little unclear. When I launch a game, the Bluetooth device that was there a minute ago disappears as an output device, and I can't select it as an output device from anywhere. I believe this is due to newer versions of Windows automatically determining the type of device for the user, even though a mic is not what it is intended to be.

Since you are using Windows 11, would you mind checking if this issue happens only if you connect the headphone? How about connecting wireless controller or mobile device or speaker or other device that uses wireless connection. Is the issue also occurring?
