Windows components updates

I recently updated Windows 10 as per the normal update notifications. After updating and re-starting I was unable to open Flight Simulator. When I tried to start, even as Administrator, it would take me to the Microsoft Store App with my login and just sit there, no messages or inserts to explain why I was there,

There were also updates to the Intel processor system too so I'm not sure which one affected the Flight Simulator. I did a Restore to the last known image, restarted and now the simulator runs normally.

Does this mean I cannot do updates to my PC for either Windows or Intel processes? That will begin a degradation in performance and security and if that is the case i want a refund.

normally you update windows, then after open the windows store and check for updates there too as most of the apps and games have a small update.

Hello and thank you for your reply! I tried rebooting a couple of times and that seemed to help, at least I'm getting an update. My problem there is I only have hotspot access with 50gb limitation and I'm at the end of the month so my rate is less tha 2Mbits/sec. Going to be a long nite!

Thanks again for the advice, I'll remember that next update notification and not be too quick to jump on it! I'll find out sometime tomorrow if I'm able to bring FS up or not. I'll shoot you a quick note if successful!

Will, that might be some instability with the updates right now, regarding the performance of the FS. What you could do is try to wait for a little while before update, but if you want, you could also ask for the refund as well.

Click on the link, and then, click on Sign in (sign in with the account that you purchase the item that you want refund for)

Chose the item and click refund.
