Windows BSOD when launching Destiny 2

    Hi, William Harpur.

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

From your description, I understand that you are experiencing a Windows blue screen when launching Destiny 2. I understand your confusion about this issue.

First of all, I appreciate that you have tried to solve the problem by reinstalling Windows on your own by enabling USB and disabling all overclocking attempts.

Perhaps other users will be able to troubleshoot similar issues based on the solutions you have tried. Let me express my gratitude to you.

You are experiencing a blue screen of death (BSOD) when launching Destiny 2. BSODs are usually caused by hardware or driver issues.

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers directly from the graphics card manufacturer's official website.

Excessive hardware temperatures can also cause BSODs. Please ensure that the CPU and GPU temperatures are within the normal range.

Unstable power supply can also cause BSODs. Make sure your power supply is stable enough and can meet the needs of the system.

From the blue screen analysis information you provided, the system encountered a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139) error, specifically due to LIST_ENTRY corruption (double removal problem). This error is usually related to kernel data structure corruption.

BEDaisy.sys is a driver related to the BattlEye anti-cheat system. Since the blue screen analysis mentioned that its timestamp could not be verified, it may be that this driver caused the problem.

    Please uninstall and reinstall BattlEye:

Open the installation directory of "Destiny 2" and find the BattlEye folder.

    Run Uninstall_BattlEye.bat.

Restart the game and BattlEye will be automatically reinstalled.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Best Regards.

Xbox PC App/Games Pass Crash PC and Forces Restart

Yes, I still had BSOD crashes after the 3.63.16003 update with Sophos anti-virus. Removing the Sophos has allowed both Halo and Destiny to launch.

xbox game pass for pc causing BSOD

Same issue here, it started when using Norton to scan Xbox Game Pass folders would cause a BSOD, now just launching some Game Pass games will cause BSODs.

HELP!!! Bingo app crashed on startup.

I'm having the same issue. I'm using a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10, build 9926.

Upon launching Microsoft Bingo, the app tries to sign in, and then I get a BSOD. This happens every time.
