Windows app unable to detect my xbox series S

Hello,

I've got a xbox series s since this summer, and the windows xbox app on my desktop. All works perfectly, but since this morning no way the app detect any console (last friday it works).

I have made a test with the smartphone app, and the console was detected, so the problem was on the windows app.

I have take a look at the others threads and tried the following thing:

- uninstall/reinstall the windows app, made power cycle, full shut down, changing the date/hour, disconnect and reconnect the network.

Does some one got another fix to try ?

Xbox app (PC) Remote play option disappeared been using it for over a month Trouble shooting I have done

on console I have double checked remote features are enabled/cleared alternative mac address/reset keep games and apps/checked for updates.

on PC side I have repaired/reset Xbox app/ and Xbox insider hub checked for window updates/App updates and the last thing I tried was pin hole reset with my modem. I have Xbox series x

Remote play icon is all working fine on Xbox One and mobile just not PC Please Help Notice this issue at 10.30am 10/10/2022

This can be a bit dumb, but did you tried power cycling the internet router instead?
Disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

If yes and that didn't work
Do you know if your windows system or Xbox app received an update recently?

In the meantime, please open the Xbox console companion app (If you don't have it, you can find the app in the store)
Once opened > go to settings > network

What's saying under / next to NAT type and Teredo?

I will try later for the power cycle router, but the fact that the xbox app on smartphone make me think it wouldn't solve the probleme.

No update since the one from 5 octobre, and the windows app work fine after (the problem appeared this morning), so the update doesn't seems to be guilty...

Open (NAT type)

Connected (network connection)

no TEREDO mention in the result screen

It seems that you're not the only one experiencing this problem, I'm starting to think that this could be a temporary issue, first mainly related to a problem doesn't let you install +18 / rated games from the store.
And this first problem can be affecting the remote play feature on PC as well

Let's try waiting a couple hours to see if the problem with the age restriction is solved.
