Discus and support Windows 8.1 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Are the servers down cos atm im using windows 7 to type on the forums and nothing is loading on my windows8.1 pc.     Are the servers down cos atm im using windows 7 to type on the forums and nothing is loading on my windows8.1 pc. Its telling me everything is offline.

    Microsoft Mahjong

    This game works on Windows 10, but has never worked on Windows 8.1

    I have one computer using Windows 8.1 all my other 5 computers are Windows 10 Pro and the Windows 8.1 has never played this game even when the 8.1 was a clean fresh new OS.

    Windows 8.1

    I think I have a virus disabling everything to do with MS. The on lt thing I can get to work is IE11.

    Great looks like I've got to reinstall windows as system restore is not working. Yay I lose everything.

    If you believe it's a virus why not try out Malwarebytes or something to see what it can find first?

    Windows 8.1

    I turn System Restore off in every version of Windows. Useless to me.

    Instead I do a custom install of Windows with everything I use the most often and then make a system image with Acronis.

    So if anything does happen, I'm back up and running inside 10 minutes.

    I reformatted my system now everything is fine. Just got to reinstall everything now. Stupid viruses.

    At this time, Solitaire is not supported on Windows 8.1 preview. Sorry! By the time Windows 8.1 officially launches, these issues will definitely be addressed.

    Confirmed in a VMware VM running Windows 8.1 Pro preview in addition to the issue I posted earlier.

    Seems that MS hasn't tested their own games with Windows 8.1.
