Windows 7 Device Manager has Xbox 360 under "Other Devices" with yellow triangle

On my Windows 7 PC, my Xbox 360 shows up in Device Manager under "Other Devices" with the yellow triangle. When I try to reinstall the driver, I get a "no driver found" error. How do I get the driver, or should I disable the Xbox entry?

    Gamepad detection problem

When the controller stops being recognized, have you tried re-syncing the controller & receiver? Also, has this happened with the receiver and a different controller?

You can check the Device Manager (right-click My Computer --> Manage --> Device Manager) on your computer and see if there are any yellow triangles with exclamation points next to the USB ports. That would indicate a problem with either the port or the driver
for the port. Have you had any other issues with other USB devices on that computer?

    controller not connecting to computer

I just checked through the device manager and there nothing that said "Unknown Device". If this help under the Other Devices tab it said "PCI Encryption Controller" and it has some sort of yellow triangle with a exclamation mark in the middle.

Wired Xbox 360 Controller isn't being detected by PC on Windows 8

This question actually belongs in the PC section which you can access at the top of these forums or by clicking here -
    forums.xbox.com/.../280.aspx

However, check your USB Controller in Device Manager (SEARCH > System > Device Manager)

Make sure your Universal Serial Bus controllers doesn't have a warning triangle next to it, if it does it suggests it has an issue usually resolved with driver updates from your motherboard manufacturer.

Also try installing the Windows 7 drivers for the Xbox 360 controller (select Windows 7 32 or 64 bit based on your Windows 8 version) -

    www.microsoft.com/.../xbox-360-controller-for-windows
that might kick start your controller into working again.

    game pass is horrible

device manager, then view and hidden devices, they sit under the storage devices section. i kept getting yellow alerts for drive disconnected in event viewer and found that it was caused by these xvd image drives being disconnected uncleanly by windows,
most of the gamepass games that are ports from the console create these.

    Xbox 360 driver not working

Hello, I'm having issues with my xbox 360 controller. My wireless receiver for the controller is not being recognized by the system. I went to the Device Manager, and updated the driver using the Xbox 360 peripheral wireless receiver driver, but it's still
not being installed. It used to work before, when I had window 7 but after upgrading it to windows 10, it stopped working.

After updating the driver in the Device Manager, the icon of the "Unknown Device" changes to a device with a tiny blue question mark. When checking the properties, the information under General says "No drivers are installed for this device", even though
    i updated it.

I need help please. Thank you.
I`m having the same issue! I hope Microsoft fixes it soon!
