    Windows 2004 made XBox 360 controller not work witch Microsoft Store games


    Updated both of my PCs to Windows 2004.

    First, it broke the drivers bricking my XBox 360 controller and wireless receiver.

    After some work they are both working again, with all my games (Steam, EPIC, etc) except Windows Store games.

    That's specially bad because my kids love playing Minecraft, and now they cannot use the controllers to play anymore.

    This morning it all worked, after I updated things to Windows 2004 it all broke.

    It must be a Microsft/XBox thing since other games are still fine. Please do something!

    Yep same issues, windows update to 2004 and now my xbox controller no longer works in xbox games.

    adapter specifically made     for Xbox 360 controllers.

    The Xbox Wireless Adapter you've bought is not backward compatible with 360 controllers.

    Here is one on Amazon, for example (they don't sell it on the Microsoft store anymore).
