Windows 11 gaming laggy

Hi there! When ever I launch a game, the game has heavy lags. My laptop is not a gaming laptop. It has 10th gen Intel i51035G1 processor and Intel UHD integrated graphics. I know this doesnt support gaming but I used to run GTAV on windows 10 and it used to run fine. Now it doesnt even load the story mode and lags a lot. Even minecraft launcher (not even a game) is laggy. Laggy means if i mover over anything, it takes few seconds for the system to hover over that. Everything was fine while I was on windows 10 but in windows 11 it doesnt seems to be the case. Anyone help me solve this issue

If the PC it's running games worse than when you used the same games on windows 10 could be due to 2 factors mainly

1.- You haven't updated the drivers for your PC components to the Windows 11 versions

2.- The games are running a different graphics settings, for example you use to have them on low graphics and now are on medium graphics

Other options could be the current system configuration, you can check this options and see if the experience improve

Disable Enhance Pointer Precision.

Enable Game Mode.

Prioritize GPU in Specific Games.

Disable Record What Happened.

Disable Apps Opening on Startup.

Enable High Performance from Power Plan

Yea, I only played 2 games online so far. The first one was very laggy and DC'd when score was 9 - 9. The second game wasn't as laggy, but still DC'd when the score was 11 - 8.

I'm hoping this won't be another year of failure for the online play in 2k. :-(

ive heard upgrading to windows 11 fixes it, but my problem with windows 11 is that all of my other games run terribly (extreme lag) because they havent been configured to windows 11 yet. So if that is really a fix, then i dont want that one. All my games run fine normally on windows 10, but they just dont like windows 11 or something

Not sure where you got the idea that Windows 11 is bad for gaming. Windows 11 is just a slightly prettier version of Windows 10, there are no issues with gaming on Windows 11. I built my own PC and have no issues with any of my games or software.

There is no difference with gaming on Windows 11 compared to Windows 10. You won't experience any dramatic improvement in performance. Likewise, as long as your PC meets the requirements of Windows 11, you shouldn't have any loss in performance either.

All of your games will work with Windows 11. I've been using Win 11 on my PC since December last year.
