Windows 10 Xbox Series X Controller Disconnects Mid-Game

Ever since a recent Windows update, I have noticed that my Series X controller I use play some games on PC with (Rocket League, Halo, etc), will disconnect while mid-game or in gameplay at random. This makes the games almost unplayable.

I don't see this issue when playing plugging in with an USB-C cable.

I have already updated my bluetooth drivers, controller firmware, etc. yet the issue persists.

Has anyone else seen this issue recently?

Hi there Bojangles! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Yes, some of us are having this exact issue, but talking to a representative it seems like Microsoft is well aware and working on a new update to fix this!

I first noticed it yesterday, never happened before.

Granted I didnt' try using a controller until then after recent Windows update.

Forgot to mention, I have two normal Xbox One controllers that DON'T see this issue.

Hello there guys, just wanna ask if the Xbox Series X Controller is compatible with the Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 ?

Also, is there gonna be a newer version of the wireless adapter for Windows 10 destined for the Series X controller ?
