Windows 10 Xbox One Streaming

Does anyone have issues with their Xbox app streaming from their Xbox One. Where it works one moment in the day, but then a Windows update or something happens when your gone, and you come back to play and it does not want to connect? Or is it just my
user error?

XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

 

It's not just you fortunately. I've had similar problems with the Xbox app not wanting to connect to my xbox for PC streaming but overall it works most of the time.

 

It works better if both the xbox and PC is connected to the router via ethernet. If you do not have a decent wifi connection you will experience lag or sometimes it will fail to connect.

If I use my laptop wirelessly it makes a difference, however if I plug it in, its always the same and always better than wireless, significantly so.
