    Windows 10 - Xbox Insider - Stuck on infinite "Install updates" loop


    Hi,

    For few weeks I'm facing a very strange problem :
    When I open the Xbox Insider app I have a message "Install updates" :
    When I click on Install updates, the update download and then install and then the insider launch and then.. "Install updates" appears again.

    I tried :
    wsreset
    services.msc (everything is normal)
    uninstall / reboot / install

    Have you any other tips that I can try please ?
    I'm a microsoft 3rd party dev and I can't even test some builds for a game wich I develop addons for ahahaha wtf

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have tried that and unfortunately it doesn't work. The xbox jo longer shows on the insider hub as it's been unenrolled. Still stuck in update loop. It's applying the update and stuck on 53%. The OS at the bottom of the screen is showing a dev build

    uninstall xbox

    my wife has the stream aswell, the only way to install the updated os version like 1803 1809 is to let it create the update on an external usb pen, make sure you dont have the sd card in the laptop until updated as this will cause a crash as windows 10 will
    not load the drivers for it during the upgrade and it gets stuck in a loop trying to find it.

    no point removing the xbox app as it takes very little space and each upgrade will add it back in.
