Discus and support Windows 10 - Xbox game bar - Xbox social not signing in in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am not sure it is worth the effort to resolve this, but here is a last attempt to do so by pinging the community.     Windows 10 - Xbox game bar - Xbox social not signing in


    I am not sure it is worth the effort to resolve this, but here is a last attempt to do so by pinging the community.

    Problem: Xbox Gamebar, click Sign In (Xbox Social), it blinks and does nothing. repeat, blinks again, ad naseum

    Information

    • Windows is signed into my Microsoft Account
    • Office / One drive is signed into my Microsoft Account
    • xbox.com is signed into my Microsoft Account
    • Did all the stuff here: https://softwaretested.com/windows/why-cant-i-sign-into-xbox-account-in-windows-10/ , including:
      • repair and reset for Xbox in Windows Apps and Features
      • I ran the Getapp command to restore all Microsoft apps
      • sfc /scannow
      • rebooting
      • added reg key
      • looked for cached identity creds, but could not locate any
      • Xbox services are running
    • Windows is fully updated 10.0.19043 Build 19043
    Any other ideas to try? Thank you.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for coming to the forums. I'd be happy to try and help.

    Does it not allow you to drag it from the top banner of the game bar? Pressing the Windows Key + G will bring up the Game Bar so believe pressing it again should hide the game bar.
