    Windows 10 Xbox Cross Platform Support Questions


    I love the idea, I however am a huge fan of physical copies of games. How might this work then? In the video it shows someone selecting their game and hitting play, I would assume that would only apply to digital games. What do you guys think?

    Xbox Play Anywhere and Cloud Saves not working on a single game when coming from Steam

    Well it is cross save compatible just not in the way you mentioned

    Play anywhere title only apply to Xbox platform not steam

    Also cross saves usually only apply to same platforms with the rare exceptiOns of certain titles

    Steam saves are steam saves and Xbox one's are encrypted

    However.achievements do carry over

    'Forza Horizon 5 will support cross-play and cross-save across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
    Steam will have support for cross-play, but cross-save with Xbox is not supported.

    As long as it's listed as Minecraft for Windows 10, it's the cross-platform version.

    Minecraft Bedrock Edition supports cross-platform play with Xbox One, Playstation 4, Windows 10, Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. To play with someone on Minecraft, you'll need a Microsoft account to do so, no matter the platform.

    steam cross-play with the windows 10 Xbox beta is not possible, you can only play games with other consoles and windows 10 games, steam does not allow, playing with the Microsoft platform
