    Windows 10 XBox Application no longer works after recent update. Any clue on why this is?


    I loved the XBox Application on my laptop but the moment they updated it and rebranded it, I can't get it to open. I click it and get the green XBox screen then it just crashes. I've read the recent reviews of the application and I'm not alone. I've tried
    uninstalling, clearing the application data, reinstalling multiple times, nada.

    Is this being addressed? Is there a fix for this?

    go to add/remove programs and de-install it then re-install. For what its worth I have the standard console app and the beta console app both are updated and working fine for me so something must have corrupted on the update for you.

    My laptop always stays up to date (Work laptop, they set it to automatically update everything) and I'm not the only one to run across the issue. So, not sure what is going on but it was a great application. I guess I just don't get to use it now. Great

    I've already done this. I even tried installing the Beta version which has never been on this machine and it doesn't work either.

    Hi Kevin,

    Make sure the laptop is completely up to date. There could be updates that coincide with the Xbox app.
