    Hello,

    I've previously made a thread similar to this one but months ago when there was only windows 8 xbox app.

    Anyhow I heard now on Windows 10 app you can invite your Xbox friends to partys and chat from the PC. The problem previously on the 8 was that this option wasn't there and you could see all your friends online but they couldn't see you online.

    Can your friends actually see you online on the Windows 10 Xbox App now? or is it still 1 way jacked.

    Changing gamer tag

    You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

    Hi buddy,

    The Xbox app on Windows 10 is very different and separate from both the Games and SmartGlass apps in Windows 8. Although it incorporates many features from both, it also adds a lot more features such as Game DVR for PC games, the ability to stream games
    from your Xbox one console and you can set-up parties and talk to your friends on PC or Xbox One.

    When you are in the Xbox app on Windows 10, you will also show up as online to your friends on console.

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.
