    Windows 10 Xbox app unable to connect to Xbox


    I'm unable to connect to my Xbox from the Xbox app on my Windows 10 desktop. I'm able to connect from the Xbox app on my iPhone and Surface 3. I've tried resetting the app on my PC. The app lists the Xbox as available but won't connect when I click connect

    'Turn On' Xbox One Not Working But SmartGlass Does

    I am unable to turn on my Xbox One from the Windows 10 Xbox app, receiving the following error message "We are unable to turn on your console. Make sure this device is on the same network as your console and your console is set to instant-on".
    However, if the Xbox One is already on, I can connect and utilize game streaming from Windows 10. On the same network, I can successfully turn on the Xbox One from the SmartGlass app on my iPhone and then connect to the Xbox One for game streaming from Windows
    10. Any ideas for how to get the Xbox One to turn on directly from Windows 10 without having to use the SmartGlass app?

    Hey,

    I am having the same problem. I can see my xbox one on the app, but it won't connect to it. I used that link that you provided and it had done nothing to help, as i already tried that, and did it again to make doubly sure. It was
    working just a few days ago, whin i was using it. I know its been months since this thread, but i'd greatly appreciate the help.
