Windows 10 Xbox app streaming.

I bought a Xbox One back in November, pretty much just for Fallout 4. The main reason I chose the Xbox over the PS4 was because of the streaming option with a Windows 10 PC. It is the only way I play, my eyes are too bad to use the TV unless I sit really
close.

About a month ago, after one of the updates, streaming has started disconnecting constantly. I have no idea why, I have streamed with the same settings and connections for months and boom all the sudden I can play for around 30 seconds at a time and I get
an error that says "We lost the connection to your console. Run the streaming test to get suggestions about how to make streaming better".

I have tried with several devices with several connection types. I am using a Netgear NightHawk X4v2 (AC 2350, latest firmware and tried downgrading with the same result), the Xbox is connected through gigabit ethernet (I have also tried streaming on 5ghz
wifi to make sure it wasn't the cable, I then replaced the cable anyway), I usually stream on my Flexxbook 11 on 2.4ghz connected at around 150mbps (streaming says low or med) but I have also tried on my Asus G73JH gaming laptop on 5ghz (433mbps) and gigabit
ethernet (streaming says green on all) and it does the same thing.

Sometimes I can play for up to 5 minutes and other times it disconnects almost instantly, I have tried resetting the router to default and reconfiguring everything but it didn't help. I have tried power cycling the console. I am at my wits end, I am honestly
about ready to trade it in on a PS4. If streaming doesn't work then I can't play it anyway.

Forgot to mention, I have tried the regular Xbox app and the Xbox (Beta) app, both are fully updated on both devices.

 

Maybe it's something like they did with the anniversary update for 10, meant to fix something and broke streaming instead? Glad to see I'm not the only one with issues but I hate you're having problems too.
