Windows 10 Xbox app (Parties not working)

Hello, I am having trouble using the windows 10 party app to communicate with my friends.

I can connect to their parties when I use the Xbox console however I would like to use the app.

When I try to join I get the error code "[0x89231806]"

I also get the error message "Network settings block chat for some people"

Please let me know if you are aware of a fix for this issue I'm having.

Windows 10 Xbox App No Notifications

I am not receiving party invites on my Xbox Windows 10 App. This makes it very difficult to join my friend's parties sometimes.

I have been having this problem since I got onto windows 10. I have disabled my bit defender, turned off my vpn tried the tunnel adapter fix and still can't get this to work.

Still no sign of any official guidance from MS yet and the official xbox app does not have the network tab. So no way of making any sense of what is going on.
