windows 10 Xbox App Microphone and Connections

Sorry to start this thread again and may be moved if i put it in the wrong place. I have a turtle beach headset x12's same as the newest 360 versions. have this app for a long time battled with connection problems with parties, unfortuantly i do not own
a xbone because I built a pc instead.

#1. Issue: Cannot find microphone, just started 6-3-17 have looked for answers and have not found anything truely helpfull, sorry we try and fail lol.

#2. Connection: It might be my pc not having the windows key(lost it. screaming at myself ) but the connections sometimes give me the tredo error code and have ran cmd:Run and reset the fields to which is required and still nothing. I just got used to it
since i mainly play pc only use the app to talk to friends.

#3. Recording? I have recorded clips of games with the app and have not been able to upload some of them because they are playing through Steam, i have also recorded from OBS and ran the app and still nothing, im guessing since the game isnt being played
on the xbone it cannont recognize it. Skyrim with no mods is what i was playing.

Xbox One on windows 10

My microphone is all static in parties but fine everywhere else. This is on the xbox app on windows 10 pc. I tried 2 different microphones but they both didn't work. I tested them somewhere else and then did.

 

Headset chat not working when streaming to pc

When streaming to PC you may have to use the integrated chat inside using the Xbox app in windows 10. This includes you having to directly use a microphone of your choice that compatible with your system running Windows 10.

Is your Windows 10 install currently activated at least, or are you running Windows 10 without a key currently? While it may not be interfering with your mic, it does get a little tough for us if the Windows 10 install isn't activated by a key yet. Additionally,
is your Windows 10 PC struggling to detect the headset or is it only when used within the Xbox app. Does the mic pick up audio within 'Microphone setup' (Search 'Microphone setup' on the Start Menu to test).

Lastly, do you happen to own a different pair of headphones with a mic to test? That will help us narrow down if the issue is specifically with that Turtle Beach headset or if Windows isn't picking up sound in general. If it is only occurring with your Turtle
Beach headset, you will want to reach out to Turtle Beach support for further assistance.
