Windows 10 Xbox App - Download Error 0x00000001

So, yeah. This is probably an incredibly common question based on Google results, but I'm completely out of ideas here and I'm becoming quite frustrated with it.

Today I was gifted an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, I successfully redeemed it and decided to try to download a single game to try it out. Except I got the aforementioned error, 0x00000001. I tried again multiple times, still had an error. I tried with another game, same results. Every single game I try to download gives me the same error.

I decided to ask Google for help, and received a multitude of different possible solutions from Youtube and forums around the web, including Xbox's own troubleshooting guide. Here are the following things I've tried in order to fix this issue, none of which have worked, of course:

• Repaired and restarted Game Services, the Xbox App, and the Microsoft Store from Windows Apps settings.
  
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Game Services and the Xbox App multiple times.
  
• Installing the Xbox App through the official executable installer instead of the Microsoft Store.
  
• Installing the Game Services directly from the Microsoft Store instead of allowing the Xbox App to do so.
  
• Making sure all related services are up and running as well as set to automatic start.
  
• Reset the Microsoft Store cache via wsreset.
  
• Edited and deleted Registry entries that might be interfering with downloads.
  
• Rebooted the PC multiple times.
  
• Installed the latest mandatory and optional updates for Windows 10.
  
• Switched users in the Xbox app and even attempted to download with no user at all.
  
• Switched the default installation drive.
  
• Used Remote Install from the Xbox Game Pass Android app (Which didn't actually start any downloads and the app was left in standby, "waiting" for my PC to "respond").
  
• Attempted downloads with four different internet connections.
  

To be fair there are way too many more things I've attempted to try and fix this one error, I'm likely forgetting at least one or two more things. I've been trying pretty much for hours now and I'm genuinely lost on what could I be missing. I feel like I've tried everything I can, at least everything that doesn't involve formatting my PC.

What else could I do? I don't want to format my PC and risk it still not working, and I don't own an Xbox to make use of the subscription there. I just don't want this to be a waste. Any help, tip, or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
