Windows 10 XBox App crashes at Onset :: here's a Solution that can work for you

Solution

Open Chrome

Press Windows + G to bring up Game Bar or select Game Bar from Start Menu

Go to settings in Game Bar

Unselect "remember this is a game"

Go back to the my games list on Xbox App and Chrome will be removed

Not sure related or unrelated but Amazon Prime Video on Chrome would crash in full screen mode when Chrome viewed as a game. But now it doesn't crash. Again, not sure if it was related or just a coincidence.

If I play with the Microsoft account I created for the Windows 10 Preview (which is only a few years old and has been used only with Windows 10) I can click the "Awards" button in "Daily Challenges" and it works as expected.

If I play with my regular Microsoft account (which I've had for 15 years, and have used with Windows 8, 8.1, and 10) and I click that button, the app hangs and crashes.

If I click on "Awards and Achievements", I can see all my badges are there, but if I click on a particular year, the app hangs and crashes.

Hi, I've tried most of the solutions that you have linked me, however when I try login to a new account the windows store disappears as well as other microsoft apps such as microsoft edge and the search bar stops working etc.

Same problem here, Xbox app loads but crashes while logging in with no error message. And exactly same behaviour in beta app. Today I've seen a new update in Store but still not working. I've uninstalled Xbox app with PowerShell and reinstalled again via
Store, but Xbox app keeps crashing. Notice this is happening in a tablet-PC with Intel Atom x5-Z8500, but the app works OK for me with my other computers I have Windows 10 installed.
