    Noob question for all Xbox elite controller owning people.

    Actually you can manually download the drivers for windows 7 and 8/8.1.

    If you buy the new wireless adapter, it will only work with windows 10. Unless there is a driver hidden away somewhere, it will not install on windows 7. I don't own 8.1 so I can't confirm.

    I have a gaming computer that came with Window 11. I want to download Windows 10. Will it override Windows 11? If not how do I get rid of 11 in order to download 10

    if the pc was designed for windows 11 then the manufacturer may not provide correct drivers for windows 10, also installing windows 10 may not activate unless you purchase.

    This sounds either like an issue with Windows 10, or the graphics drivers on your machine.

    Try checking that there are no pending Windows 10 updates that need to be installed, and check if you have the latest graphics drivers from your manufacturer.

    You will need to try re-installing the drivers but first I recommend making sure your Windows 10 system is updated.

    Their service wont do anything, all theyll tell me is to install the driver, and it fails to install every time despite the fact that windows knows what kind of hardware it is.
